Re: fatal: mmap(1310720): Not enough space--not
Shalom,
mmap, which means memory map is a 747 sized hole in memory controls on HP-UX.
Most official memory regions have and respect controls placed on them by the kernel.
There is nothing that can be done for this problem except to identify the process that is reserving the memory with glance and lsof, and make the process go away, usually by bouncing it.
Normally if a process is taking unlimited memory via mmap, it is an application flaw and the application vendor needs to fix it.

You can plug the hole with ulimit -m. This limits the sum of all memory types.
