Hi,
I have a project with L-class servers with 2 100-Ethernet Cards each. I'd like to know a way to connect each NIC in separate Cisco Catalyst 2924-XL-EN switch in order to have fault tolerance in the links and switches too. (Both cards will act as a single IP). I know that with FEC I can have fault tolerance in the links but it is operating with only one switch. The operating system is HP-UX 11.00
I'd be very appreciated if someone could provide additional information
Thanks in advance
Lalos Andreas

Solution
The LAN Monitor feature of the HP Auto-Port Aggregation software provides a link aggregate capability with MC/SG -like configuration tools, even though LAN Monitor does not support MC/SG. In the event of link failure, LAN Monitor will automatically migrate the data flow from the primary link to one of the standby links in the link aggregate.
