Hi
Can anyone tell me why I get the following message when attemping fbackup ? :
fbackup(1004): session begins on Wed Nov 5 10:27:44 2003
fbackup(1010): semget failed for the semaphore
There is no concurrent fbackup process running but I did kill an fbackup comand previously.
Thks
Jeff

Solution
Hi,
if the process was killed using the -9 the system has not released the memory that the process reserved. This probably also goes for other memory related resources as e.g. the shared memory segments. So unless someone comes up with a miracle cure, your best chance is to reboot the machine.
Sorry, not much help.
regards,
John K.

it would be nice if you always got a second chance
