fbackup with 0mn option

Hi.
I have one Ultrium 2-SCSI (400 Gb) and I want to have some backup in the same tape. I run the fbackup with the 0mn option but the tape has the last backup only. I can't find the previous backups in the tape.

I run: fbackup -f /dev/rmt/0mn -g file -I logfile

Any can help me?

Thanks

Re: fbackup with 0mn option

fbackup was never designed to have more than one backup on a tape.

If you want to append to the tape use tar, cpio or pax.

Re: fbackup with 0mn option

fbackup will always rewind the tape, and from the man page:
fbackup should not be used with no-rewind devices, for example,
/dev/rmt/0mn.
