						HI
we have Oracle apps sitting on hp-ux box. Oracle apps implement imap for the workflow/email related events. It relies on smtp for outbound messages. The mail server is different machine mpt the one where the Oracle apps is running.
Now, I see 1. NOques related messages in the mail.log which is noqueue: Null connection m/c name [ip]. Here it is the hp-ux server box where the apps are running. What impact does it have on the remote mail server if any like does it increase the load on the mail server
2. IMAP POLLS the remote mail server and processes its message.
3. Does any one know of any performance issues on the remote mail server with an implementation of the imap service running through the hp-ux server
