Fiber disk and LAN card not recognize by system after cold Installed.

After Installing fresh HP-OS 11.00 64bit on L-2000, lanscan was not showing one interface and ioscan was not showing fibel chanel disks connected to that system, do I require to to do some additional configuration ???

It's not unusual after doing a cold image for the network card (100BT) to not be recognized or config'd. Recently I cold imaged to 11.0 a K box..and after I had to load the network drivers from the Apps CD for the network card to be seen properly. Now I'm not certain, since I don't have any L series boxes if it would be the same app (you might need to check on this..but what I loaded was J2759A.
...and remember after you do this ..you will have to check lanscan;ipconfig lan_;and netstat so that you can then manually set up your ~/netconf manually. Reboot then to confirm your network changes held.

Rita is correct. The drivers needed by these devices are not inherent with the OS. The drivers can be found on the application CD Roms.

On your L2000, you certainly need to install :

swlist -l product |grep -i tachyon
FC-TACHYON-TL B.11.00.05 PCI Tachyon TL Fibre Channel

You can find it on your application CD.

The software bundle for TACHYON fibre channel card is A5158A. Please get the lastest patches (PHKL_20207 and PHNE_15537) before you install A5158A otherwise your machine won't boot :)
