Find the date of an archive

Hox can i find the date an archive has been made on a tape with fbackup?

Hi,

Use the 'frecover' command

# /usr/sbin/frecover -V /tmp/tape_header -f /dev/rmt/0m

(assuming that is the tape device your using)

To get get the index of the tape:
# /usr/sbin/frecover -I /tmp/tape_contents -f /dev/rmt/0m

Have a look at the man page for 'frecover' for further options.
