finding appropriate cdrom
Haii All,
I have superdome Which have 6 vpar and 1 npar.I want to find out the cdrom for one vpar.
I entered that vpar give ioscan -fnC disk. The device is claimed and i tried to mount to /cdrom but iam getting I/O ERROR.
I checked in /etc/fstab alsoo There cdrom is not mounted..
How can i identify the cdrom for tha vpar..
Plzz help mee...

Hi,
please bu sure that a media is in the drive, if it's in, media or cdrom may be defective. try another cd, if it doesn't work change it with another one.
