Firefox on HP-UX
i was interested since Mozilla 1.6 seems to be a resource hog on my systems (11.00 and 11.11).
so a second question would be is there any tricks to make Mozilla run faster?
bottom line is that we only care about plugins for AcroRead and Java in the browser along with just basic Intranet access

Re: Firefox on HP-UX
If you can get the source you might try compiling on HP-UX, but there's no guarantee it'll work.

Re: Firefox on HP-UX
lower system loads.
generally well tuned system.
more memory.
Mozilla grabs a lot of resouces but its acutal use depends a lot on what web pages are loaded and how much conent they have.
Even under heavy clicking (i do itrc forums, case management and other functions with it) I've never seen it impact system response time.
