Not sure I understand what you want. If it's just where to get perl 5.6.1 for your HPUX 11.0 machine then:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Languages/perl-5.6.1/

is a good source for a precompiled binary assuming an L-1000 is a PA-RISC box.

5.8.0 is also out now and available on the same site at:

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Languages/perl-5.8.0/
