Footer does not print!!

Hello,

We are using a combination of IE4.01, IE5.5 and IE6.0 browsers with HP4SI and HP5SI.

The standard footer does not want to print when using IE5.5/IE6.0 and the HP4SI printers.

Is there anyone with the same problem? Does anyone have a solution?

First, I realized that I was in the wrong forum for this question, so I posted it again in the Windows 9x forum.

The problem is not page type/size or margin related. It seems to be a problem between the latest versions of IE (5.0, 5.5 and 6.0) and some printer drivers. I have seen other posts in other forums with the same behaviour but no solution yet.
IE 6.0 with HP5SI for instance is fine, but if you switch to an HP4SI then the footer disappears (even though the print preview looks OK). If I replace the standard footer &u&b&d in IE with just &u&d for instance, then it prints, it does not look great but it prints!!

I finally fixed my problem!!

Two things worked for me:

- Removing and reinstalling the printer driver.

or

- Updating my current printer driver with a new one found the HP site.
