Hi,
I am involved in a HP-UX security project and we are required to uninstall every unnecesary compiler. They think that they do not need Fortran compiler but they need Fortran run time. Does anyone know if it is possible to install or uninstall some of the components of Fortran for this porpose?
Thanks in advance,
Alberto

Solution
Yes, you can remove just the compiler fileset from Fortran90 for example. These filesets are in Fortran90, just swremove the compiler fileset only;
B3909DB.FORTRAN90.FORT90-PRG B.11.01.71 FORTRAN 90 Compiler
This wont affect the runtime libs.
Fortran90 contains all these filesets;
# B3909DB B.11.11.71 HP-UX 11.11 Fortran 90 Compiler and associated products (S800)
# B3909DB.FORTRAN90 B.11.01.71 FORTRAN Programming
