Fresh Installation
I have a new HP-UX11i factory installed box,
This box came with 2X72 Gb drives as IR volumes.
Is there a document or can somebody help me with the steps.
All I am trying to do is.
1. HP-Support says HP Integrity Virtual Machines is not supported on HP-UX 11i V3, hence we want to downgrade it to HP-UX 11i V2 (11.23)
2. Downgrade the current O/S.. i.e. reinstall from the DVD media.
Any suggestions,,

Re: Fresh Installation
Yes, you will have to do a cold install of 11.23 (use the June 2007 OE).

Re: Fresh Installation
Looks like you have a rx3600/rx6600/rx2660 because of the integrated RAID volumes (IR).
HPVM is not yet supported to run on a 11.31 host, but you can run it as a guest.
You are right, downgrade means cold install.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
