fstab entries
Recently i had to login to single user mode to
change passwd which defaulted to my older passwd account, my senior oracle dba laid down
one of his control files, this resulted in changes in the fstab for new logical volumes that was created, what we only see in the fstab are older logical volumes that were created last year, to access new files, we manually have to mount these logical volumes from the command line. Iam thinking that these
could be an NIS or automounter problem. What should i do to have these new logical volumes back
in fstab rather than re-editing the fstab.
thanks.

Re: fstab entries
I dont think there is any way of getting the fstab back if it has changed. You should have to restore the fstab from your backups, if you have any or re-edit it.
