fstab question

Hello All,
I have server (hpux 11.23) which runs websphere application. Users found out a slow in accessing the applcation through the url.
It turned out that the network speed ,load balance and everything is fine .But still the slowness is there on and off. when i checked the etc/fstab i notced the file system where application reside has the entry like this
/dev/../rootdg ... webvx vxfs delaylog 0 2
Could this be because of the vxfs and the root disk s mirrored ..?

i have another system but in which the applicaton filesystem is hfs ..it does not have any problem - but it is alos mirrored.
And one thing is the problem just started couple of hours ago.

Appreciate your suggestions
Thanks

Re: fstab question

Looking at the problem description it does not look like the entries in fstab is making any problem. But you need to check rootdg is intact which you manage using VxVM(Veritas Volume Manager).

Also do you see any diffrence (higer load)in the system load while the application was slow.

Re: fstab question

Hello Navin.
Did you check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file ?

also check to see if your network switches are fine.

is the problem only with this server ??.

what application are you running ??
