FTP issue
A different support team need the file from ftp deport from some /xyx/abc and they are having a
problem to connect to ftp deport.
The software they are using connect to our server (Tumbleweed) only allows them to
use Active mode. When they try to connect it appears that our server is blocking
them from making the connection.
Following are questions that answers would help us in getting this process
completed:
1) Is there a change that can be made on your end to allow us to connect using
Active mode?
2) Instead of using SSL, can we connect using SSH?
Tumbleweed Secure FTP Server does not support SSL Implicit. Tumbleweed Secure FTP Server only support SSL Explicit.

Why suspect your FTP server, as opposed to,
say, some firewall somewhere? Can anyone
get FTP to work using any other FTP client?

On _whose_ end? Who is asking whom about
what?
It might help if you could identify the FTP
server and the FTP client, and describe
clearly who is trying to do what.
