Re: Function Keys
put it in the shortcut. So
in the "Type the location of this
item field" put:
"C:\Program Files\InternetExplorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome
and you'll be all set.

Re: Function Keys
I can get it to work without the ( -nohome), but then it doesn't serve the purpose. I can Start>Run>iexplore -nohome, and it works. I just need to be able to assign that function to an 'F' key. Nothing I've come up with seems to pass muster.

Solution1) Create a new shortcut. When prompted, enter (preserving quotation marks):
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" -nohome
as "the location of the item".
2) Assign a name to the shortcut, right-click on it, and bring up its properties.
3) Click in the "Shortcut Key" field, and type F12.
4) Click "OK".
I just tested this under WinXP Pro SP2, and the shortcut works without a problem.

Re: Function Keys
that a space was deleted from
the path in "Internet Explorer".
"Not found" means that windows can't
find the program you've entered.
Use the browse button and navigate to it.
Add the -nohome outside the double quotes...

Re: Function Keys
Using F9 though, won't work with F12. I really appreciate your assistance!
