Gateway Host Name

I'm trying to setup the network parameters on a old hp box running 10.20. Is there a command I can run to find out what the Gateway host name is?

Thanks.
I always keep a supply of stimulant handy in case I see a snake--which I also keep handy.

Re: Gateway Host Name

The default route? Try "netstat -rn" or look in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf.

Re: Gateway Host Name

Either you have to log in into the gateway to find that
OR

your DNS should have that entry
so that using
#nslookup
you can find that out

I think you are configuring

set_parms addl_netwrk
which asks you for your gwy hostname.
