gigabit ethernet backbone

could anyone tell me if K-class (in particular K580) machines support gigabit ethernet please?
were thinking of replacing our FDDI ring with gigabit ethernet however in the serviceguard cluster there are 3 x K580 1 x V2250 and were getting an N later, im not sure if gigabit (fibre or copper) is supported in a K-class.

I am using A4924-60001 HSC 1000Basesx card
on my K580. The driver comes with A4924A.

A4924A hsc 1000base-sx adapter will work on a K580,on 10.20 and 11.x.

Yes, the K-class supports GbE via the A4924A HSC NIC. Just a heads up for you, this card is fiber and supports multi-mode fiber. For some reason our network admin wanted to use single mode to connect us to our switch. As long as these boxes you are referring to have open HSC slots you should be good to go.

on K580, N and V class systems.
