Glance and Swap utilisation
Hi,
Can someone help me.
When I run glance on our HPUX 11i system I see that I have about 400+MB free of memory, but the swap utilisation is 500MB, ie on the top bar of glance it has 'U'( user allocated ) of 250MB and 'R'(Reserved ) of about 4GB. Why do I have any user allocated at all when I have free physical memory ?
I will upload a screen shot.
Many thanks,
Pat

Re: Glance and Swap utilisation
As Seen from the screen shot , your memory utilization is very much on the higher side ~ 94 % , that's the rason for higher swap utilization ~ 60%.
