I use glance plus to monitor one of my HP-UX 10.20 box, and in the alarm window, since this morning, I get this CRT message:
Message queue table is nearly full
End of message queue full condition
What is that mean??

SolutionYour issue is the value of msgmni kernel parameter. You can verify this in glance by pressing the 't' and then look at the message table value. You will need to raise that value and then rebuild your kernel and then reboot. I hope that this helps.

Re: Glance Plus Strange message...
How frequent are the alarms, do they have any real impact on server performance?
If they don't happen frequently, and the impact on performance is minimal -- no need to twiddle and recompile just yet. But to make the messages go away, that is what you'll have to do eventually.
SAM makes these kinds of changes a snap, and depending on your server, your total down time for such an operation could be as little as 10 minutes.
