I don't think it can be downloaded; it's on one of the Applications CD's. Look at the CD_TABLE_OF_CONTENTS file to find out on which one the trial version is located.

Hi,
glance should be on the first Application CD (I believe).
No reboot is required after install.

All unix flavours are exactly the same . . . . . . . . . . for end users anyway.
