We have rp 5470 two nodes cluster with two external storages shelves. Each shelf has 2 x 36Gb and 2 x 73Gb hard disks.
When I do Ioscan in both nodes, it seems hard is failed. But it is difficulty to recognize physically because there is amber colour indication. But two LEDs in a 73GB Hard disk of node1 are continuously lighting in green.
Please help me to identify fault hard disk correctly. Is there any command in HP-UX like tru64 hwmgr?

Re: Hard disk replacement in hp-ux cluster
disk 15 0/10/0/0/4/1.3.0 sdisk NO_HW DEVICE HP 73.4GST373307LC
/dev/dsk/c5t3d0 /dev/rdsk/c5t3d0
But there is another disk with SCSI ID 3:
disk 16 0/12/0/0/4/0.3.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP 73.4GST373307LC
/dev/dsk/c6t3d0 /dev/rdsk/c6t3d0
Do you have multiple enclosures?
Your full ioscan is empty.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Hard disk replacement in hp-ux cluster
Consider to use "dd" and lit the activity LED on the disk in the **neighbor** slot, e.g.
# dd if= /dev/rdsk/c5t2d0 of=/dev/null
(this will be slot 3!)
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
