hardware path info

How to interpret the following hardware path into C#t#d# format fot the device file creation.
tape 6 1/0/14/0/0.3.23.255.5.5.0 stape CLAIMED DEVICE HP Ultrium 2-SCSI

ioscan -fnC tape will give you all the file info too.

Try ioscan -fnC tape

or
ioscan -fnH 1/0/14

ioscan -fnH 1/0/14/0/0.3.23.255.5.5.0

will give you the device files linked with the tape hardware path you want.
