Heartbeat lan not available can cluster be able to startup?

Gd Day Forum,

Currently, i detect my heartbeat lan in a 2 - nodes cluster is having some issue.

Any way to bypass it to startup the cluster?

Hi,

If you need to startup cluster in an emergency, re-configure cluster to use same lan as applications.
Be sure to fix heartbeat lan and go back to this configuration as soon as possible.
Another way is to mount disks manually and start application software manually.

u can reconfigure your cluster to use the primary lan card .

In that condition your lan speed will be littel bit slow , but u will not find any major issue.

No you cannot "bypass" it.
You will either need to fix the problem, or reapply a new cluster binary with the defective lan removed from the configuration.

Hi,

U have to change the lan card details in the cluster config ascii file, and reply the same.

U can use the primary lan card as heard beat.
