/var/opt/ignite/logs/makrec.log1
however, *please* instead of make_recovery
use make_tape_recovery, then
you always have a
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/latest/recovery.log
(for the last run only, since latest is linked to a directory with a timestamp name).

for make_tape_recovery:
# ls /var/opt/ignite/recover/latest/recovery.log
do heed the advice of Bernhard and use make_tape_recovery command. in case your version of IgniteUX is too old and do not contain the make_tape_recovery command:
