Re: ioscan : NO_HW
in ioscan -fnk the devices will not be visible.
if you run a true ioscan -fn (not asking the kernel what it thinks there is), it will come across the fact that there *was* HW but now there is NO_HW.
Only way to resolve this is reboot.

Bernhard

Re: ioscan : NO_HW
If you really want to delete them without understanding what's going on then reboot your HP-UX system, it is the only one possibility to delete them.
Otherwise you don't worry about them, they should not be a problem for your system and on next reboot they will go away.
Best regards,
Ettore
