How configure the size when Format a SCSI disk in HP-UX 10.20

I have installed in a old station HP-715 (HP-UX 10.20) two disk SEAGATE ST34520N (4.5 GB), but they appear how only (2GB), diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c0txd0 or SAM show only 2GB Total,

I have tried to format the disks by the command mediainit ???v /dev/rdsk/c0txd0 , but I can't change de wrong size of this disk.

How can format these disks to get the real size of this disk (4.5GB)?

Thanks in advance ???

Your issue is related to an old version of 10.20 and the disktab file. Were these disks in any other kind of computer?

Edit the entry in the /etc/disktab:

SEAGATE_ST34520N:
:4 GB:ns#112:nt#4:nc#8992:
:s0#4028416:b0#8192:f0#1024:
:se#512:rm#7200:

Re: How configure the size when Format a SCSI disk in HP-UX 10.20

Thank you, for your quick answers.

I have modified the file /etc/disktab according to your suggestions, and I have formatted the disk again using the command:
mediainit -v /dev/rdsk/c0t5d0

But after doing this, the disk maintains the same size (2GB).

The echo of the command ioscan -funC disk shows:

# ioscan -funC disk
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description

What command(s) are you using to determine that the disk is only 2GB?
