When you run the lanscan it show you the mac address of the lan cards installed in the server.

ifconfig shows it to you as well.

Hi,

You can use "lanscan -ia" to get the MAC address from a lan card.

Unless it has changed in 11.31 (11iv3) I do not believe that the HP-UX ifconfig command shows MAC addresses. I believe that is the Linux ifconfig command which does that, perhaps others.
