How do I stop the fault light flashing ?

what's your system class?
maybe this helps:
on the console do:
Ctrl+B
sl (system logs)
Error (error logs)

just check one message and the light will be gone.

If you haven't got a local console attached then the fault light will flash. We have had this with systems using a web console.

Got this problem on two machines then ;-)

At the console login as root

Enter ctrl+b
Which take you to the gsp prompt

enter sl (show logs)
enter e (will show error logs)
co to return to console

Light should now stop flashing.

On the console of the server do
Ctrl B and go to the gsp prompt.
Type sl and then E. This clears the errors log.
I have done this procedure on an N class server.
