how to block broadcast UDP message reception on HP-UX 11.00 ?

Hello,

does anyboby know if it is possible to block broadcasted UDP message reception on a 100BT LAN interface card installed on a B2600 station (HP-UX 11.00 OS) ?

Strictly speaking the only way to keep it from receiving broadcast UDP messages is to put it on the other side of a router. Routers block broadcasts by default and can have nice filters to keep unwanted stuff from getting to their hosts.

However, I expect you want it to just not react to the broadcasts. You probably need ip filter to do that. www.ipfilter.org
