Re: How to change screen res ?

Reboot, keep pressing TAB as it reboots, you will get a menu which asks you to change the resolution.
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

Re: How to change screen res ?

Monitor 98754A, supported on:

?? 712 - Yes, so long as the 712 had video ram installed.
?? 715 - Not possible.
?? 720 - Yes but you would have to install a PVRX graphics box (downgrades the CRX graphics capability).

The monitor seams to be not supported on a 715/50 ;-(( but try what Stefan wrote, perhaps you have luck.

Re: How to change screen res ?

TAB is not working on 715/50.
TAB works only on 715/64 and 715/80 and more recent stations.

Maybe the 98754A is not supported by HP, but it do works on a 715/50.

Plug a terminal on the serial port, remove HIL keyboard, stop boot process and find the monitor config command.
