I have several jobs in the print queue that i need to change owner from root to another owner...

Solution
The simple answer is that you can't. You could make some changes to some binary files after stopping the scheduler daemon but that would hardly be a trivial task. Since this is probably related to your dA* files from yesterday, I would cancel the existing jobs and create new lp entries after su'ing to the desired user.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
