how to change the system mac address

in the server two lan cards availble for redudancy , but one lan card show mac address in blank and down state, it is possible change the lan card mac address . because previously we have taken the lan card backup for server configuration details.

Without the server and LAN card model numbers, and the HP-UX revisionl, we can't really give you useful advice.

Also, post the output from these commands:

ioscan -kfC lan
netstat -in
lanscan
uname -a
machinfo
