how to configure the console to continue the recover

Hi ,
I am trying to reinstall my system from the tape recover; Begin well from the hp console but after the grabages appear I cannot conttinues. Could someone tell me how to pass this step please?

more details on system tape device back up software etc

thanks what you are doing p, and what you see

and what you have tried so far

and why are you doing a recovery what happened ///??

Console garbage can appear for several reasons.

The most common one is terminal emulation. Some HP systems require an HP terminal emulation. Others work better via vt100 terminal.

Try both and see which one works best.
