how to configure VIP on the APA?

Hi,

I've 2 interface with standard LAN_MON (active/standby) configure.
I would like to have an additional IP (lan900:1) on the APA interface (lan900) and which will also failover.

What is the best way to configure this VIP on the system init??

the HPLM start after the "net start", and there fore I can't configure the lan900:1 on the netconf, right??

Please advise!!

A easy way to do this is, to configure it through smh (hostname:2301)

Thanks for your info but it seems not help on the VIP on APA interface...

It is OK for me to configure a normal lan0:1.... but not sure on the best approach on the lan900:1.

Will the APA auto configure the lan900:1 when I setup the lan0:1 in the netconf?

You can make an additional script to bring up VIP interfces after APA start script.
