I've disconnected a DAT tape drive from my system and replaced it with a terminator. Ioscan now shows the device as NO_HW as below:
target 5 56/52.4 target NO_HW DEVICE
tape 0 56/52.4.0 tape2 NO_HW DEVICE HP C1533A
How can I remove the tape drive from the ioscan listing altogether ?
Many thanks in advance :-)
