how to find the HW inventory of rx server

Hi

I want to find the HW inventory of the rx2660 server which is running hp-ux v3.

How can I get the HW/SW inventory of this server from OS mode?

Hi Nirukshitha,

from the swlist u will get all the softwares installed on the OS.
And from ioscan -fn will list u all the hardware installed.
By using ioscan with other parameters u can get more details of each means cpu, disk etc.

Use cstm for the most complete list of the hardware:

echo "selclass qualifier all;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm

This is all on 1 line.

Just keep in mind you would need the optional product Ignite-UX installed for print_manifest.

You won't see the serial numbers for I/O cards (when they are electronically readable) using print_manifest. While Ignite is optional, it must be considered as mandatory for any HP-UX installation.
