How to install Integrity VM Media kit

I have gone through the HP Integrity Virtual Machines Release Notes Version A.03.50, but it dos'nt give much idea on how to do that

Version A.03.50 is for 11.23 only, do you have this hp-ux version?

HPVM 4.0 is for 11.31.

i have 11.31 OS running on the server ...and version A.03.50 of VM dvd...

Basically I need to create Virtual machines and then create VM hosts and run 11i V2 on them

If your server runs 11.31 you need HPVM version 4.0.

Otherwise you need to install 11.23 on the server.

Opps..... I was given 16 dvd's of VM version A.03.50 when asked...

And now I have installes 11.31 on all the Servers yesterday...

I thought I can run VM on 11.31..
and

VM guests should have 11.23

Is it possible to install 11.23 again on these servers...I have 11.31 on them..and then Install HPVM 03.50

I have a fresh Install of 11.31 on the servers... Now as HPVM 03.50 dosen't support 11.31.

Is it possible to degrade to 11.23 as 11.31 is a fresh install and no applications have been installed on the server.

Do a fresh install with 11.23 or install HPVM 4.0 (this would be the better option anyway).

You MUST run at least Dec 2007 or later 11.23 on the virtual host in order to use/install IVM 3.5.


The virtual guests can run HPUX 11.23 or 11.31, Redhat(or some other flavors of supported Linux), or Windows ..
