I excuted insf -e command in hp ux 11.11 server.
but it is still running after 5 days. I got hanged. How can i kill that insf since i cant run ioscan command on the server.

SolutionWhat is the meaning of "can't run ioscan" - is it hang too?
Try
ioscan -fnk
and check the results. Check syslog and roots mail box.
Sounds like a hardware problem to me, causing these commands to hang.

yes we do have a problem with fiber channel card and few tape drives attached to the card.
This server is a master back up server. That is why we want to avoid reboot.
