How to mount an ISO file in 11i v3

Hi,

I'm trying to mount an ISO file on an 11i v3 system. It is not local, it is on an NFS mount. On linux I would just use "mount -o ro,loop etc etc" but that doesn't work, even with -F cdfs (and I have tried iso9660 and lofs to no avail). I keep getting the following error message:
mount: /tmp/disk1of2.iso is an invalid operand
Any ideas?
I found some older hits on this saying it can't be done YET but they are 4 years old - I'm assuming it CAN now be done in 11i v3??

Hi,

Just a thought. If you are able to mount it on Linux, export that mount directory through NFS and mount it on hpux.
Best wishes,

Ganesh.

Shalom,

mount -o loop has never worked on HP-UX.

So my solution is to mount it on a Linux system in an NFS or samba share and be done with it.

That's what HP says to do.

It uses pfs_mount and I've always found that tool a gigantic PITA.
