How to netboot a HP-UX 800 series through a linux bootp/dhcp server

Without Ignite server, is it possible to netboot a HP-UX 800 series through a linux bootp/dhcp server? What is the procedure to do so? Thanks!

Hi,

I do not think it is possible to boot a HPUx server to boot from any server other than a HPUx ignite server.

It is not. HP servers and workstations (series 800 / 700) require and Ignite/UX server to boot from the network. There is no way to use linux or any non Ignite tftp boot server.
