How to redirect console messages to FIFO

How can I redirect all console messages to the FIFO file, similar to using
'swcons' on AIX?
The goal is to collect the messages and send back to the console terminal plus
to the printer and the log file.

Just configure the file /etc/syslog.conf.

Use "man syslogd" for more information.

syslogd can't write in append mode, so redirection to FIFO is impossible.
Plus, not only syslog messages are displayed on the console.
