How to start OEM GUI and RMAN GUI

Hi,
I'm trying to start OEM GUI.
I have done:

/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/bin/oemapp console

I have got this error:

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetExceptionjava.lang.NullPointerException
Cannot launch application oracle.sysman.vtcConsole.VTCConsole
Usage: oemapp
The installed applications are: worksheet, console, dbastudio

What the problem?

How can I start RMAN GUI?

Hi

If you have a METALINK Acount refer to DocID 230189.999:
OEM console doesn't start

It's the same scenario you have, the problem was the configuration of the X-connection.

In Version 9.x rman is part of the OEM console. Oracle integrates rman in the console, but I don't know exactly in which version.
