Hello,
I have a server with previous OS installed. I re-installed HPUX via DVS and chose a different pair of disks for the OS. The disk that has the previous OS is the one below ( c1t1d0 ). At ioscan I can still see it has the s1,s2,s3 etc. How can I re-use (re-initialize) c1t1d0 so it get rid of the s1,s2,s3. I'm planning to use it for a new VG. THANKS.
disk 2 0/1/1/0.0.0.1.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP DG146BB976
/dev/dsk/c1t1d0 /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s2 /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0 /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s2
/dev/dsk/c1t1d0s1 /dev/dsk/c1t1d0s3 /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s1 /dev/rdsk/c1t1d0s3
Cheers,
f. halili
