HP C8000 Network Speed remote

How can i read remotly the hardware konfiguration of my HP C8000 ethernet card.

i must set the hardware config from 100 full duplex to autoneg. CAN I DO THIS REMOTLY ?

Yes, although you will lose the connection after you make the change. There is also the possibility if the connection at the other end of this cable is not set to auto-negotiate that you will not be able to reconnect.

Both ends need to be set to auto-negotiate and with certain cable lengths (~35-41m), the negotiation can fail.
