HP IDS/9000 (idsSSLAgent) error
Hi,
I have installed and set up IDS/9000 on an HP D380/2 with HP-UX 11.0. Then I created the necessary admin and agent keys for secure communication (SSL) and then I moved the agent keys to particular hosts. Unfortunatelly, when I am starting the idsagent an error message is logged in /var/opt/ids/sclM/logfile.txt (by the idsSSLAgent which is started itself by the idsagent):
Entering bindToSocket:0:Error 0
0: idsSSLAgent: can't get port number: Sa_E_SESSIONCACHE_INIT
0: idsSSLAgent: can't listen bind to the port: Sa_E_SESSIONCACHE_INIT
Then, the idsSSLAgent becomes defunctioned and running the idsgui I can not connect to any agent.
Can anybody help me with this error? Thanks in advance.
Ioannis

Re: HP IDS/9000 (idsSSLAgent) error
I just joined the ITRC forum today and noticed your post on the IDS/9000 product. Are you still having this problem? If so I can help you work through it if you like.
