HP machines and OS matrix

I am looking for the information on the list of HP machines(hp 9000, alphaservers, integrity servers) and what kind of OS (true unix 64, hp-ux 11i,linux etc..) they can run. not all the machines can run all the OS. basically, i need a sort of certification matrix. optionally if matrix can include which ERPs they can run (SAP, Oracle) it will be great.

thanks,

Re: HP machines and OS matrix

I expect you won't be able to find one matrix that will cover all the different platforms you mention, let alone the ERPs.

Here's a start for the HP-UX machines:

http://www.testdrive.hp.com/STKT/serversupport.html

This one is specific to 11i v2:

Here's HP-UX workstations:

And here are Hardware end of support dates:

HP9000 HP-UX
Integrity Linux,Windows,OpenVMS,HP-UX
Proliant Linux,Windows,Netware
Alpha Linux,True64,OpenVMS

You cannot find the whole information in one matrix. please let us know some more information about your ERP and the versions.

Re: HP machines and OS matrix

HP-UX BLS is very old and out of date, since the B-2 level security is has been replaced with new designations, such as EALx-CAPP (where x is a number such as 4). Most of the functionality of BLS is now in standard HP-UX 11i v2 (11.23), but they are not equivalent. See http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/operating/security/index.html#certification for security certifications.
