HP-UX/Ingres II performance degradation
We are considering migrating from CA Ingres 6.4 to CA Ingres II(windows) on our K460/9000-HPUX 10.20 server. We have been told there is a bug with HP-IngresII which will use 100% of the first processor and then only uses about 5% of any remaining processors.
Has anyone come across this? Are there any HP patchs available? Also does anyone know if this is a HP bug or an Ingres bug, I?m having problems finding any detailed information.
Thanks in advance.

Re: HP-UX/Ingres II performance degradation
YES!!!!!!!!!
We are using BrightStorEB which uses the ingres database.
IT is a PIG!!!! Not only does it hog the system but it uses 10 times the data area as compared to the original ARCserve Backup
