HP rp3440 installation with keyboard/mouse and graphis card

Hello all,
Does anybody has any experience that install rp3440 with PCI graphics card and connect USB keyboard/mouse? We are trying to replace aging HP workstation with rp3440. But just do not if rp3440 is suitable to use. Any advice or comment are welcome. Thanks for your helping.

Hi,

I think I've done this before. No problem with this configuration. Do you have something specific to be asked?

Regards,
Sandy

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Right now, we have a plan to replaced aging workstation. But HP has discontinue PA-RISC workstation. Due to the software needs PA-RISC platform to run. We are looking for alternative hardware. That's why rp3440 will be choiced. Any though? Thanks all.

Re: HP rp3440 installation with keyboard/mouse and graphis card

He Chen,

U can add rp3440 below products, then U can use graphics card & keyboard and mouse:-

A7861C--Keyboard Kit USB PC-104/105 Carbon
AB551A--HP OpenVMS, HP-UX PCI Graphics Card

No need any additional software install, if required U install the below patch:

11.23: PHSS_32960 (or later)
11.11: PHSS_32966 (or later)

Thanks--Yaqub
